An entrepreneur takes on the risk of building a solution before anyone has confirmed the solution will work or that people will pay for it. The defining feature is not the idea, which is usually common, but the willingness to be the one who finds out.

The easy mistake

Careful here. Being wrong repeatedly is part of the job description rather than evidence of doing it badly. Any version of this word that leaves out the failures is a sales pitch.
